ALL GOD'S CHILDREN

We believe that children are a vital part of the church. As a result, we encourage all children to participate in our corporate worship service. We believe that the family that worships together stays close to God together. During our service, there is a special sermon just for the children. The purpose of this is twofold. First, our covenant children will begin to understand that the worship service is for them as well as their parents. Second, it is a wonderful chance for our little ones to see and hear the minister up close and personal and realize that he is their minister too!  Also, there is a dedicated section in the back of the bulletin for children to draw "Sermon Art."  This is a great way for parents to teach their children to listen attentively and participate during the Worship service.  Children are encouraged to draw what they hear in the sermon and place their artwork in the "Sermon Art Box" at the end of the service.  The Sermon Art is frequently emailed out to the congregation so that they can see how much the kids are learning! For information on how to teach your children how to enter into worship with you as a family, we recommend the book Parenting in the Pew by Robbie Castleman.
