Hunter Townsend Brewer, Minister of Teaching

Hunter is originally from Gadsden, Alabama and is married to Vicki
Klauser of Tupelo. They have one daughter. Hunter was
called to the ministry while a student at the University of Alabama School of Law. His undergraduate degree is from Samford University. He has a master of divinity degree from Reformed
Theological Seminary Orlando and is working on a doctor of ministry degree from Reformed Theological Seminary Jackson. He has worked at churches in Alabama, Florida,
and Mississippi. Hunter has an unhealthy obsession with Crimson Tide
football and basketball. He also enjoys history, movies, and learning to play tennis. As a

Josh Kines, Minister of Community

Josh is originally from Mobile, Alabama and is married to Emily Kines who is from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Josh enjoys grilling, sports, and pingpong. Emily enjoys cooking, sewing, art, reading, and spending time with family. They have been married for five years and have two daughters Anne Elise and Ava and a son Jak. They met at William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Josh is also a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary. They spent the first two years of marriage working with a church plant in Nashville, Tennessee before starting seminary in 2003.

Bill Whitwer, Minister of Outreach
Bill is the founding minister of Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church (Ridgeland, MS), Lakeland Presbyterian Church (Flowood, MS), and Rainbow Presbyterian Church (Gadsden, AL). He has also been on staff of 1st Presbyterian Church in Jackson, MS and Gadsden, AL. He is a graduate of The State University of New York and Fuller Theological Seminary. Bill is married to Carol Sue and they have two grown daughters.
Nikki Bonham, Children's Ministry - Nate Bonham, Pastoral Intern

Nikki is from the Ridgeland and grew up going to Highlands Presbyterian. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from Middle Tennessee State University and graduate degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Christian Education. Nikki likes to travel, read, write, blog and spend time with her family. In 2004, she married Nate. He also graduated from MTSU with a degree in Aerospace Administration. Nate is a student at Reformed Theological Seminary and is a pastoral intern at the church. In the future, Nate and Nikki hope to complete their seminary degrees and use their education and church-planting experience as missionaries. |
Elizabeth Bowen, Office Administrator and Ministerial Assistant

Elizabeth was born and raised in Jackson is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. She is a member Northminster Baptist Church. Before coming to Madison Heights, Elizabeth worked in retail management and was a bond manager at Ross and Yerger Insurance. She is married with one son and lives in Ridgeland.

Sam Brady, Music Ministry

Sam was born in Grove Hill, Alabama, into a very musical family. He began piano and music studies at the age of 6. His professional career, which includes performing, recording, writing, and arranging various styles of music, started in 1978. Through God's grace, Sam has spent the last several years using his music ministry to glorify his Father. Before coming on staff at Madison Heights, Sam assisted with music at Bowmar Baptist Church in Vicksburg. Sam has played with such notables as Kathy Tricolli, Lori Morgan, Johnny Lee, Eddie Cotton, Percy Sledge, Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night, Rick Derringer, John Cafferty, and many, many more. |
Harrison Hatfield, Youth Ministry/Pastoral Intern

Harrison is from Gadsden, Alabama and is a graduate of the University of Alabama. He was on track to become a State Farm agent when the Lord decided to tap him on the shoulder and send him in a different direction. As a result, Harrison and his family moved to Madison so he could attend Reformed Theological Seminary. Harrison is married to Mary Margaret who is originally from Florence, Alabama. They met at Alabama. They have one daughter Mary Ella and a son Harrison Jr. Concerning hobbies and interest, they have so many there is not enough room on this website! |
Brittany Strong, Nursery Director
Brittany is originally from the Jackson area and is a graduate of Mississippi State University. She is married with one son. Before leading the nursery at Madison Heights, Brittany was an interior decorator for a building design firm.
